ROLE DESCRIPTION |

- Direct an executive committee of 10+ members
- Liaise directly with the Kite DS Director to support the TZ committee and year-round operations
- Run quarterly Board of Trustees meetings with University officials, Development experts, and CDI alumni
- Supervise partnerships with stakeholders
- Advise and support Project Directors and Volunteers on project direction and handover to local organisations
- Develop a strategy and long term vision for CDI
- Direct the December and Summer trips
- Coordinate committee recruitment and transition
- Give presentations, speeches and pitches at conferences, events, and showcases

- Meeting with a variety of stakeholders and building a network of experts and mentors
KEY TERM TIME COMMITMENTS |

- Conduct regular meetings with the executive committee
- Assist project directors and executive team with strategy
- Consult with the junior board on a monthly basis
- Conduct meetings with the full Board of Trustees every quarter and send out monthly updates to the Board
- Meet with the Senior Treasurer quarterly
- Maintain stakeholder connections and engage with potential new partners
KEY SUMMER TRIP COMMITMENTS |

- Check in with all committee members and projects regularly to ensure everything is running to plan, including organising and running weekly committee and strategy meetings
- Strategise about long-term and post-summer plans for CDI and make decisions about the future of the organisation and projects
- Help manage collaboration with and support KITE Dar es Salaam
- Coordinate with the junior board on a regular basis
